New front door and ceilings.

Painted paneling down and termite
damage under repair.

All front behind paneling was eaten by termites.
Whole inside wall has been replaced to foundation.
New bow window. Lots of light now!
A door from living room to garage has been taken out.
New access from garage is through laundry room to kitchen

Kitchen - Frank is going to put a breakfast/lunch counter
here between kitchen and dining room  - Kitchen is being
enlarged by putting half into framed in addition in the garage. The now shot was taken from the same spot just a little more to the right and higher so the to me breakfast bar doesn't show. 
Wall that was in the background is now gone. The tile is down on the kitchen floor since this photo was taken and Frank has finished the kitchen cabinets and they are ready to go to the finish shop.  Hopefully will be in with
new counters and all appliances installed by Christmas.
 

I'll have to update these we now have a door on
the left and two dog doors going out to two separate
yards for the dogs.

We already put in a booster bath.
This room is full with dogs crates, grooming tables,
 beds and puppy pens right now.

Other half of basement - Office? Family room?
Whelping area? Spare bedroom? or maybe all 4

Again this has to be updated I have painted
and we now have brick masonite (washable)
on the bottom half of walls and a futon.
This is where I set up my whelping boxes.
I covered the hardwood floor temporarily with linoleum.

 
 3/7/07 I  was having trouble getting far enough away to take photos so didn't even try in the upstairs kitchen
and it is quite small and very dark. The living room measures 21 x 26 so that wasn't much of a problem.
3/26/07  Renovations in progress. Believe it or not we are moving in on the 1 & 2nd of April.
Windows and siding will not be done but bedrooms will and we will get it done more quickly living there.
5/20/07  Having the siding up prompted me to get this updated.  Living here now for almost 2 months.
The upstairs comes first but put a gate at the bottom
of the stairs, installed a booster bath in the bathroom, moved dogs and crates in  and have had the electrician
put in a couple more outlets for my dryers and some more lighting to help my grooming - hopefully.
10/27/07 Well I finally got around to updating this again.  Still have to take photos of the downstairs
and the kitchen area but you get the idea.  Down stairs has been taking over by the dogs and puppies.
It looks very crowded right now.  Hope in a few more weeks I can get better photos than now.
